Seeking an architect to legalize a 120 sq ft porch enclosure in Hollywood, FL. We need to provide signed/sealed plans showing the back room. Including wall details (connections to the back plate, strapping, wall thickness, interior framing, insulation) or rational analysis. Must be able to conduct a site visit and submit designs so that we can obtain a permit. The “Florida room” structure was approved as a “porch” but when we filed a permit application to change the windows they responded that a porch can’t have windows.
