I need a script / command line executable to do the following in linux environment. dynamic scrolling text overlay on incoming rtmp stream (h264, aac). dynamic text input should be pulled from a php based url. should be able to handle broken rtmp stream and resume scrolling from where it stopped. * ffmpeg, vlc etc can be be used. * free to use any scripting language or C/C++ as long as it is supported by Linux (Debian) command line.

Hi, I am C/C++ developer with experience in ffmpeg, vlc and webservices in c/c++ Ubuntu. I think this could also be solved using embedded rtmp html and calling the text webservice from client php script. But I can also solved it in vlc. Let me know which way you like it. Regards SeaProg
