Hello everyone.
I need a very standard Inventory control program that is based in access XP or 2003. It should control multiple warehouses (we move our stock from one warehouse to another and we want to know where it is), Work in Progress, pellets, lot numbers, providers, and a finished goods warehouse. In the finished goods are the manufactured parts with a BOM (Bill Of Materials) that will include several of the components stored in the warehouses. In the Work in Progress we have CVOs, which are parts manufactured from the components in the warehouse, but that themselves are parts (or subassemblies) for other products, and therefore must be put in the work in progress warehouse. CVOs have a BOM and they will be included in the BOM of a greater CVO or a finished good.
We want to be able to track quality problems for a certain component of from a certain provider, all the way from the Finished Good, to the warehouses, so we know which components have to be returned to the supplier, and that do not have to go into manufacturing.
Of course we will need to use laser scaners and Zebra printers for barcode labeling (printing and scanning). So far we already own a Zebra printer, but we still have to buy the scanners.
We would also like to have a component on a Pocket PC or Palm device (we have no preference yet) that can help us track on-the-fly information and be synchronized later on.
The interface should be very simple to use, very intuitive, and web-based if possible. We have Windows Sharepoint Services running on the server, and we'd like to link it somehow.
If you have any doubts, please don't hesitate to contact me.

## Platform
Our current server is a Windows 2003 machine with Office 2003 (in English). All clients are Windows XP and Office 2003 (in Spanish). Be careful with the languages since we've noticed they tend to cause trouble. For the mobile devices and scanners, we are open to suggestions on which is better and why, and we'll get them.
