WE are looking for a patent translator to work from Japanese to English. WE have around 12,000 characters and the first translation we received is so bad, we would prefer someone else re-translating it. The target wordcount was 6,400 words and this should express the budget we offer for this job. We are looking forward to your flat rate offer for completing this job that is a patent with chemical background. Turnaround is 2-3 days (delivery max 21st in the morning european time).

I currently translate from Japanese to English for an Okinawan newspaper, Ryukyu Shimpo. My background does not include work with patents or chemistry, so as eager as I am to provide my assistance, I will not misrepresent myself. If you are still looking for someone to help, please send me the original patent at my email address. Once you send it to me I can let you know within a couple of hours ( during reasonable hours MST in the U.S.) if I have the skills to provide you an accurate patent translation by the deadline. I also read that you need it by morning on the 21st in Europe. Which time zone, exactly?
