Base on your example, starting keywords are purchase, price, pay ..., ending is to find the next noun (or punctuation). we can start by identifying the noun phrases in the document in general, entities (such as countries), keywords and so on. we can process this and with some statiscal information about the wording on the document. this is only a general idea and I can provide a full proposal and plan for the project along with the tools needed (i know which tools to use) I have been working in the field of natural language processing and machine learning for 3 years and I worked on creating chat-bot, making sentiment analysis projects in English and Arabic, and many other projects which i can also provide some sample. I have extensive experience in coding and developing Machine Learning Projects as a Researcher at Microsoft. For the given project, a filtering mechanism to rank words according to their importance can be generated using a classifier based approach. The important words will be clustered and highlighted accordingly. Note that, I will write first part of the code in Python to detect set of key phrases in a document (say top 5). The input to this program will be a set of documents in a directory and the output will be a CSV file having document file name and a comma separated list of key phrases in each line. The 2nd part is about highlighting (using an API) and I have not done this before. Assuming these are MS WORD document, I propose to use Apache POI in Java. The output will be the set of processed documents in the same file. 1. suggestions • With many documents by same author or on same topic, it is easier to define key phrases as those appear more frequently. If the text quantity is limited, we can detect phrase but what is “important”? If told that the document is on food, then all phrases semantically near to “food” can be detected and more frequent ones can be the important phrases. • There are various algorithms to find the key phrases or a document and each of these methods has their own limitations. We have to try several and choose the best. 2. past project • I have done some research (published few papers; please refer to my profile) similar to what you are asking for extensively using NLP. I essentially looked at customer text reviews and examined various methods (statistical, probabilistic, unsupervised graph theoretical and supervised) to find out the key topics that they are discussing and chosen one that works best for my target domain.

Dear Employee, To address the key points that your raised: 1) I would require more details as to what sort of data these documents will contain and what will be considered important. Depending on the data that is available I would attempt to deploy a scheme that makes use of deep nets (these are the heart of Google's search engine); If the dataset is limited I would fall back to using shallow methods. I would also considering developing handcrafted algorithms to specifically suit your needs. 2) I have experience in Natural Language Processing. I built a system that could translate English language to Machine code in 2011 where I was selected as a Google Science Fair Finalist. Apart from that, I have the necessary knowledge of building deep net systems and running training them on GPUs. This project sounds really interesting and I would be keen to hear more about it!
