1. Load the picture, if you can't divide it by 8, add zeroes to the pixels 2. Read 8x8 blocks 3. Subtract 128, to get values from [-128,127] 4. Use FDCT equation on the block 5. Enter compression factor, everything under that number becomes 0 6. zigzag scan 7. Put it in binary
