The project is orientated to develop a Web Platform to cover all the needs of the Admision Sector of an important police school department. It will include not only de admision forms and the administrative process across the different stages to be admited, but also a Control Panel tool to let the direction of the school to follow up the process. We are looking for 2 developers with experience in VB6 and SQL Server. Developing language will be XOJO, so if the candicate has no experience in this language candidate will expend at least 1 week learning the developing [login to view URL] will be provided of the online courses and the training week will be paid after finishing the courses. Experience developing in XOJO is a plus in order to avoid the learning curve. The Platform have to be fully developed and in production in at least 3 months. After launching the platform one candidate will remain working to support and the to improve the features of the platform. Spanish language is not a must but it will be a plus because front end will be in spanish.

I have been working with Realbasic/XOJO for about 20 years. Currently working on a contract connecting XOJO to a SQL Server via ODBC. XOJO does supply a plugin driver for sql Server But it doesn't seem to work on a Mac which is what the client requires. I also have several years working with other SQL database like PostgreSQL and SQLite and I am knowledgeable in the SQL language. My Spanish is rather old and rough but I'm sure that I can manage.
