Need Assistance Resolving Wordpress Load issue, looping issue, and errors viewing member-only pages

We currently are having issues with a member-based Wordpress site. We initially thought the issue was performance related, but we moved it to a very fast server and the issues persisted. Here are the known issues: 1) homepage showing member-only pages in menu. the only pages that should be visible when not logged in as a MEMBER are the "homepage" and "contact us" page. 2) homepage showing 404 error sometimes and timing out. 3) when trying to access wp-admin, it is taking a very long time to load. I suspect a plugin conflict, issue with the theme, or heartbeat issue. Overall, we need to fix speed issues without using a cache-ing plugin and also fix member level access so that members only see files they have access to.
