Interactive Program that Allows Users to Build Custom Design

The basic idea of the program is to have a fully-interactive interface that allows users to build their own custom product. The interface should feel almost like typical video games that allow players to customize and build their own character’s appearance. I would think the program would be flash-interface and the whole process of building one's product should take place on the same page on the website. The custom design process would involve a series of categorizations. Through a series of categorizations (going from superset-subset-subsubset,etc.) the user will be matched with all the eligible designs in the database. The custom design process would involve a series of categorizations. The user would first be prompted to choose a specific type of all the products offered on the website. Through a series of categorizations (going from superset-subset-subsubset,etc.) the user will be matched with all the eligible designs in the database. The program should be able to identify different parts of each design, so that the user can "mix and match" differnent designs to ultimately pick on that the user prefers most. The user should then be able to specificy in what specific material the product should be made in. Finally, the program should have the capability to take the final design of the user and give a 3D picture of that design, and the user should be free to rotate the image and look from all possible angles. I'd prefer programmers who have created similar programs before and have implemented them for commercial websites.
