Extract and Record Video from old left 4 dead .dem file

I am not sure how to get this done, which is why I am posting the job and all the files outright. I have an old .dem file which would play through left 4 dead. It is currently possible to play .dem files through l4d or any source based engine. Unfortunately this file was generated with an older engine than is currently available, and I cannot get it to work. This is a tournament winning recording from a friend who passed away recently, so I will be extremely happy if this can get done. It is kinda an odd specific thing, you will either have to find the proper engine, or find a modded demo player
