3D Animation - Flying Dance Choreographic

Please see attached zip file! We are an independent multi-media studio looking for a freelance 3D character animator with experience choreographing non-cartoon dancing characters in Maya, which will conform to our requirements (see attached "Initial Instructions and Requirements" and Desired Skills). We need the animator to produce a pose to pose deliverable as well as a final completed dance. We will provide a rigged model and more detailed instructions upon award of this project. This is a fixed-price project. Our one and only payment to you will be strictly due upon an approved final delivery as defined in the attached "Reporting and feedback schedule". We expect this project to be about a week of work (about 5 working days + time lapse for the required reporting and feedback). Examples of prior work: Artists, please demonstration your abilities by providing similar examples of your prior work that match the theme and style for our project. Reporting and feedback schedule: For this project we need a freelancer who is willing to work according to a predefined reporting and feedback schedule. The purpose of this structure is to spend your time and our time as efficiently as possible by mitigating the chance that you spend a lot of time creating something different than what we are envisioning. Please see the attached "Reporting and feedback schedule" for a detailed description of that expectation for this project. That schedule dictates when we want you to stop working, send us a report, and wait for our feedback to continue. We will share a Dropbox folder with you in order to deliver initial files to you and receive uploads from you. You will be required to sign the attached NDA. More detailed instructions for specifically what we want done will be given upon contract award. Also we are hoping that this process leads us to some good talent who we can contact in the future for follow-on work associated with our other concurrent projects. ## Deliverables Desired Skills: Maya Character Animation, Knowledge of IK and FK Rigging, Strong Understanding of Weighting and Gravity, Experience with "Pose to Pose" Methodology, Non-cartoon Realistic Animation, Experience using Weighted Tangents, Experience Choreographing Realistic Formal-Styled Character Dancing.
