I would like to hire a Game Developer

Hi freelancers! I'd like to make a video game, and I need your help. I would like to make a role-playing video game similar in nature to the "slice of life" aspect found in games such as Persona or Animal Crossing, with a modern contemporary setting on a college campus. The game's premise is that you get to act out all 4 years of college life with absolute freedom, choosing your friends, clubs, activities, and more. The game itself would be almost entirely character interaction-driven and story based, meaning that your interactions with NPCs, your stats, your friends, your clubs and groups, and your attitude all have a significant effect on the things you're able to do and the relationships you build or destroy. Certain character interactions can open new doors, but close others that will have to be left to future playthroughs. What I need: I'm completely incompetent when it comes to game engines like GameMaker or Unity, and RPGMaker isn't really what I'm looking for. So, I would need someone to be able to program the back-end of the environments, coding, and characters, and I would need the help of a digital/sprite artist for the character and environment designs. The only "mechanics" at this stage would be dialogue between the players and NPCs, and the physical movement of the character in the environment; I think it should be simple on paper, but I don't want to underestimate the work either. I will be taking care of the game design elements, the writing, the dialogue, and the music. Regarding payment, I intend on selling the finished product on Steam, so I can either pay you upfront, or we can split the profits from Steam sales if you have faith in the finished product, meaning high risk/high reward. If it goes well, I'm more than happy to give you a generous cut of the profits since the majority of the core work will be on your shoulders, for example, if it were myself and one other person, I would be willing to do something like 30% (me) /70% (you) depending on the end result workload, but we can cross that bridge when we come to it.
