vdw5000 wifi action camera, is the perfect product for my project. The only problem is that the wifi connection shuts down after a couple of minutes when the connection is broken. Here is what it does: When i want to use my camera with an app on my iPhone or Android, i need to push a button on the camera - it then flashes for a couple of minutes, within this period of time, I have to take my phone, then go to wifi settings, choose the hot spot that the camera creates, open the app on my phone, and bingo it works perfectly. - But if I want to switch back to my other wifi connections such as my internet router, the camera then starts to flash again for a couple of minutes, and if I don't connect to it in time, I loose the connection for good. Of cause i can just go to the camera and press the wifi button again. This is what i want it to do: the camera needs to be placed in a cage with some animals, and I don't have easy access to it. So i want the camera to always be turned on, and always offering the hot spot connection for mobile devices. --- Is this possible? Can it be done with a modification of the firmware in the camera?
