We are looking for a NODE.JS specialist who can help us with the optimization of a NODE.JS script. We have managed to make a script that forwards all TCP traffic from one port to another. It is working well but we have a serous problem, it consumes too much resources, like 70% 80% only when we are redirecting all traffic from a single website (where node.js acts like a PROXY). The schema looks like this : COMPUTER BROWSER => NODE.JS => SSHTUNNEL => WEBSITE => SSHTUNNEL => NODE.JS => COMPUTER BROWSER Here is our post on stackoverflow with the problem in detail : [login to view URL] We also looking for someone who can develop more NODE.JS scripts, this is just the first project.

The reason for node.js to consume so much resource because it depends on other layers of the system, I would recommend you to use more low level language like C or C++. If you like we can talk more on this on the chat.
