I'm needing a small program edited so that it's multithreaded so as to not hang when function is ran. The program will listen to packets coming in and if they match the payload then it will reply with a cached value. Every 5 seconds, this cached value is updated and can sometimes take some time, this causes the program to halt and not reply to clients connecting.
