Java Architect

Position: Chief Technical Architect - Java About Necto Technologies Private Limited Necto Technologies Private Limited is a young, fast-growing startup based out of Mumbai. We focus on building real-time app using using Java EE, Android and NoSQL as database. Role Description: 1. As a Chief Technical Architect, you will be responsible for architecting / product design and maintaining the technical environment of the organization. 2. You will head the core decision making team to decide on the technologies, development environment and other components to be used for building/maintaining the suite of Products. 3. Technically lead a team of developers spanning backend , business logic and front end as required. 4. Be responsible for hands-on coding of important modules. 5. Re-architecting/Re-Designing/Refactoring existing system, as required. 6. Should be self motivated to learn new technologies/tools/frameworks and flexible to put the same to use when the need arises. 7. Must be willing to adopt Agile practices for the product development. 8. Guiding the team to adopt new trends/ best practices in development. Experience: 5 years or more Skill Set: 1. Minimum 5 years of work experience in Java EE web application design and development with at least 3 years’ experience as a web application architect 2. Experience in architecting, designing and implementing using a SOA & Design patterns 3. Strong technical background in Java (Core Java, Java EE stack), front end technologies (HTML5 / AJAX / JSON /JQuery /Javascript etc). 4. Good knowledge of working with custom/standard frameworks, experience with pluggable architecture and Web/Application Servers. 5. Strong object oriented design and development fundamentals, design patterns. 6. Exposure to RDBMS is preferred. 7. Ability to thrive in a fast pace, dynamic start-up environment. 8. Should be familiar with Unit testing. 9. Exposure to NoSQL based datastores is a plus. 10. Strong in use of Algorithms / Logical analysis. 11. Should not shy away from coding when required. 12. Excellent communication and team player.
