Hi 史考特， I am Pengfei Jia, an international student now living and studying in University of Alberta, Canada. I think I am the person that you want to find. First of the first, I'm from mainland China, I know most of the commonplace sayings that now popular on Chinese social media, and that will difinitely help you to boost your manderin level up. Second, I am a fine arts student, mainly in oil painting and partial art history. This makes me full of creativity on topic choosing and also trained my English speaking and writing skills well. Cuz every art project I made need to be introduced to my tutaor and classmate, and in order to gain high score for my GPA, every essay I wrote from art history research need to be organized perfect. By the way, I also do translations from English to Manderin, which trained my thinking method as well. And that makes have plenty of experience how to think like a person who speaks English and better known how to let him to understand manderin and thus, I could makes him talk like a normal Chinese little by little, bit by bit. 虽然我不是男生（没有优先的权利），但是我对电脑以及社交媒体语言不陌生。再加上，华语（普通话）是我的母语，我就学时也读了华文文学，非常了解中文文法与句型的正确用法。我学的是简体字，但我有很多在台湾的朋友，所以也能看懂繁体字。 我觉得一小时少过$10已经很少了，平时我教学生都是一个小时$20以上的。

我是一名在北京语言大学读书的学生，专业是英语。在我们学校有很多来中国学习中文的留学生，我在之前的学习中也与他们作为语伴相互帮助学习，所以有过帮助外国人练口语修改作业的经历。我来自河南省，这里的方言与普通话很相似，所以我的普通话发音比较标准～ 作为英语专业的学生我的口语还是不错的，如果可以的话我们也可以共同提高。

I am currently teaching Chinese at Vassar College in NY. Both my master and bachelor degrees are in Teaching Chinese as a Foreign Language. I just found this website, because I wanna save money for my trip in the States.
