Coder to grab data from supplier websites so I can use the information collected to sell their products (retail) on-line rather than tediously entering each product one-by one manually. I have a football (soccer) on-line e-commerce store and need to fast-track the products from my supplier to my website (via Admin panel) for sale.
The data to be captured is a specific product and therefore not the whole of the site is to be captured as in most cases.
The topic is football (soccer) products such as boots and indoor football shoes from all leading brands such as Adidas, Nike etc.
Also required is football team / country jerseys and gear such as gloves, scarfs and socks etc.
All is simple in a main football menu and then submenus.
- Football Boots: I need to capture the product name, item (ID) number, price, sizes (see attached screen capture)
- Football Jerseys: I need to capture the product name, style, item (ID) number, description, price, sizes (vary) and price per quantity (see attached screen capture)
If possible I would also like to be able to capture the matching product images linking to the data specs in thumb, medium and large JPG sizes. Please inform if possible so the image has the product name for ease of identification.
Data is to be categorised in sequential order per the menu paths (products) within the site and produced in an Excel spreadsheet or similar so I can revise from cost price to retail prices. Images in separate ZIP folder if possible.
A simple task for a talented coder who does this reguarly.
## Deliverables
Data will be required from minimum 2 websites, max 3 websites.
See attached for explanation of data capture requirements. This data is consistent for all products.
