Description: We are seeking a skilled and experienced Full Stack Developer to integrate video and audio call functionality and activity feeds into our existing project. The project is built with Django for the backend, React for the frontend, and utilizes Redis for WebSocket communication. The real-time chatting feature is already implemented, and we are looking to enhance the user experience by adding video and audio communication capabilities. Responsibilities: - Integrate video and audio call functionality using WebRTC. - Implement activity feeds to keep users updated on relevant events within the platform. - Collaborate with the team to troubleshoot and resolve any issues related to real-time communication features. - Ensure a responsive and user-friendly experience across various devices. Requirements: - Proven experience in Full Stack Development with a focus on Django and React. - Expertise in integrating video and audio call features into web applications. - Familiarity with WebRTC or similar technologies for real-time communication. - Strong knowledge of Django, Django REST framework, and React. - Experience with WebSocket communication, preferably using Redis. - Ability to work independently as an individual contributor. - Excellent problem-solving and debugging skills. - Good communication skills to collaborate effectively with the team. Nice to have: - Previous experience with activity feeds implementation. - Familiarity with Agile development methodologies. - Understanding of security considerations in real-time communication applications.
