I had a php file created to implementing auto login functionality to directly login into my site from a chat app, so that user gets logged in to my site when he visits home or profile page on my site. The php file supposed to fetch username and password through post method and authenticate and login the user(set cookie or session as per my site) and return the response depending on it. 1- The php file works for only numerical passwords. For user with alphabetical passwords they get logged in but my site cgi pages do not recognized them. 2- The php files creates the cookies if user is successfully logged in. But for the second user the php file does not regenerate the new cookies. I need both of these points to be fixed. Please see the attached php file.
