Project Description: I require a Google Earth Network Link that queries my existing mySQL Real Estate database of listings and provides a constant updating feed of properties and placemarks to people that open it. The programming language should be PHP. Knowledge of XML, PHP, mySQL, and Google API's is required for this project. Website users that open the KMZ file present will setup a link to my server. Once the user zooms in to a particular area, the The Google Earth "Network Link" will query the mySQL database with my real estate listings and will plot the available properties on the Earth. The user may move around the earth, and after pausing at a location for several seconds, a new batch of properties will be displayed. All of the properties are available in my own mySQL database. Each property has a field with the latitude and longitude in the following format: [login to view URL],LON.xxx. Each property also has text, hyperlinks, and photos. Most of this information from the real estate listing fields will be arranged in a template that will open when the user clicks on a specific property. There are 6 existing types of property, and provisions must allow for a total of 10 types. Each type of property will have it's own placemark image so the user may differentiate between golf courses and vacation rental properties. Under the network link shown in the left Google Earth places panel will be folders containing the different property types. The user may turn off/on these types with the checkbox. From the website there will be a button that displays a message of "View this location in Google Earth". This will open the Google Earth network link file (KMZ) and will center the camera over that particular set of coordinates for that property. The network link will then begin to load the additional nearby properties. ## Deliverables !! New info added, please see below!! (Points 13 & 14) Now Required: also include functionality that will find & load the 50 nearest geo-tagged photos from the [login to view URL] website using the flickr API. The format of the flickr photos and presentation must be very similar to the look of placemarks created with flickrfly, [login to view URL] ********* Deliverables 1. All content and code created for this project will be owned, in entirety by myself. No re-use of it will be allowed without my express consent. 2. The network link must have a delay of 2-10 seconds (adjustable) before passing the location variables to the server and beginning the download of placemarks. 3. The network link must require the user be zoomed in to an elevation of 500km (adjustable) before it initiates the server contact. 4. The "view this placemark" button shown on the real estate listing website ([login to view URL]) must take the user to that specific property and begin loading the nearby (visible) placemarks. 5. A banner image of roughly 2000px x 150px will be displayed in a static location along the top of the Google Earth window. 6. The placemark template and banner information should be kept as separate XML files that I can edit. 7. The winning bidder must provide a project status update **at least once every 3 days**. 8. An initial proof of concept must be displayed within the first 10 days of winning the bid. 9. Bidders must specify if they can include flickr API functionality in this network link. 10. The final product must very closely resemble the attached images. 11. KMZ files must successfully open on both Internet Explorer and Firefox 12. The placemark templates must support HTML. 13. Each placemark in Google Earth needs a link that will open that property up in the website, i.e. a "See full details..." link that opens up a web browser and goes to that specific property 14. A character limit will be required for some of the database fields (primarily the descriptions) so that if the text is too long, a "read more..." link is appended and the user can click this link to open up that specific property in a web browser. 1) Complete and fully-functional working program(s) in executable form as well as complete source code of all work done. 2) Deliverables must be in ready-to-run condition, as follows (depending on the nature of the deliverables): a) For web sites or other server-side deliverables intended to only ever exist in one place in the Buyer's environment--Deliverables must be installed by the Seller in ready-to-run condition in the Buyer's environment. b) For all others including desktop software or software the buyer intends to distribute: A software installation package that will install the software in ready-to-run condition on the platform(s) specified in this bid request. 3) All deliverables will be considered "work made for hire" under U.S. Copyright law. Buyer will receive exclusive and complete copyrights to all work purchased. (No GPL, GNU, 3rd party components, etc. unless all copyright ramifications are explained AND AGREED TO by the buyer on the site per the coder's Seller Legal Agreement). ## Platform PHP/mySQL Google Earth KMZ (XML)
