We're looking for someone to research DV technology for a special project. You would be looking around for the right product or combination of products to achieve real-time filtering effects. You would be delivering a short report on what our options are, with their advantages and disadvantages. We don't need a formal paper, and certainly not a presentation. Perhaps a table that shows the options, approximate costs, and their up- and down-sides. Imagine you were doing a comparison article for a DV magazine. Here are the absolute-must-haves: 1. takes live camera input (no particular camera) 2. applies sophisticated filters (not wipes) to the input. these filters will simulate different types and degrees of visual impairment. some are static, some dynamic. some are simple (like a blur to simulate near-sightedness); some are complex (like glare coming from either one part of the screen or from all bright objects). 3. displays output in real time on a separate monitor or VR goggles 4. all commercial products -- no development required here are some nice-to-haves: 1. portable 2. inexpensive
## Deliverables
1) Complete report as described above
2) Assistance and explanation of content so we can proceed with our purchases and system implementation.
## Platform
any, but prefer windows
