Office? application? files? are very? slow to open on? our office PC's, particularly if they are opened via Explorer from within a directory. ? On my PC I often need to go back and click on the file again? after? the? application has opened.
The? files open a lot more quickly if? the? application is opened? directly? and? then? the file is selected.
We have been living with this, because it is a minor rather than major irritation, however we now have a major problem.
We have just had a script written that imports charts and data from Excel into Word to create a report. ? When our coder runs the script it takes about 1 minute to? run each report, however on our systems it takes between 20? and? 30 minutes. ? We can't live with this.
We need a real expert in Windows & MS Office to work with us to sort out this problem. ? I am willing to provide virtual access to my PC, and to run any test software required. ? Full specification is in the main part of this bid.

Hi, Thanks for your interest. We have solved the slow macro issue ourselves. However I still want someone to help me understand why Office applications are so slow to open on my PC. I am still happy to pay the same amount that you have bid. Just let me know if this is still of interest to you. Thanks for your time Chris
