Adding a novel feature to facebook-style statuses of drupal as new module

Hi, I want to add a novel feature to facebook-style statuses of Drupal with the hope of creating an updated version. in addition to #hashtags and @users I want to add a numeric value to the statuses such as "*5". The "*5" numeric value does not have to be clickable but at the end I want to use all numeric values *1, *45, *67 etc. etc for statistical purpuses for example average statistics... As such ; I want to get and display statistics for all the #XYZ statuses. "#XYZ @user1 how are you? *5" "#XYZ @user2 there is a long way to go *1" "#XYZ @user3 himmel und Erde *3.5" "#XYZ @user4 das *4 ist einfach" . And I want to display *X statistics for all #XYZ hashtags. A statistics about "5, 1, 3.5, 4, etc,etc.." Many Thanks, Korkut Vata ## Deliverables The novel module will be used on the employers site.
