We have an e-Commerce website that sells women's golf shoes and accessories. We would like to encourage our customers to recommend our products to their friends by giving them rewards when someone they recommended us to makes a purchase on our site (somewhat like [login to view URL]). I imagine it working like this: someone sends an email to their friends via the site (most likely through a form). That email generates a unique link back to the site and activates a cookie on the friend's computer when they click on it. If/when the friend buys something on the site, the referrer automatically gets either a store credit for a set amount or a discount code unique for them to use the next time they buy on the site (they are notified of this via email). The site is Wordpress-based and is running WP-eCommerce. [login to view URL]
