website: [login to view URL] 1. Design a new section of the website called ‘Discounts'. In Doha, our company also sells ‘discount cards', which people in the city buy and then when they go to a restaurant they show their discount card and they are given 20 -50% off their bill/ cheque. The discounts will change every week. We need to create a new section of the website that people can look at to see what discounts they can get each week. This section needs to be edited in Admin, and able to upload J-pegs and text. 2. Enable editing of ‘Top 20 Restaurants'. We have a page of ‘Top 20' restaurants in Doha. Currently, this top 20 list is worked out automatically from the score out of 5 stars, given to each restaurant. This does not work well. We need to be able to edit this list ourselves. We need a new section within Admin that says ‘top 20'. In this section there should be a simple list that allows us to select a restaurant for each number in the top 20. 3. Improve the ‘Search' facility on the website. Currently, you can only search for restaurant names and nothing else. We need to user to be able to search for things in home delivery, competitions etc also. The User Needs to be able to include keywords in their search and not just restaurant names. For example- If someone searches 'seafood restaurant katara' they need to be show a list of all restaurant pages that contain the words 'seafood and katara' The only seafood restaurant in Katara (an area of Doha) called L'Wzaar seafood restaurant' should be the first result shown. At the moment if I search 'spice market' (which is the name of a restaurant) I am shown 'market restauant' 1st result and 'spice market' 2nd result. The restaurant that I have searched for is shown as the second result, not the first, which it should be. I want the results to be shown by 'relevance' and not alphabetically as they are at the moment. Also- If someone spells something wrong, at the moment they are given no results. If someone spells something wrong, I would like the search engine to say 'There are no results showing 'YOUR SEARCH' Did you mean...'SUGGESTION' For example: If I want to look for 'Spice Market' restaurant, but I accidentally type in 'Spoce Morket'... I want to be shown: 'Sorry, I cant find anything for Spoce Morket. Did you mean Spice Market? One option is to have the search powered by google. If google is used though, the search results page cannot look like google- it mut be within our website, and use the same colours / themes etc. 4. Change the size of advertising banners. We have 3 ad banners currently on the website. We need to change the dimentions of these banners. 5. Develop the ‘Home Delivery' section of the website. This is a section of the website where users can view take out menu's. Currently they are in a list. This section needs to be developed to be more user friendly. We need to have a ‘new online' part at the top of the section, as well as a ‘We recommend' part.
