website statistics session tracking

In my website system then it tracks the visitor during order sessions but I would like to know if it is possible to make the system "see"/record if the visitor - while on my website - closed his browser. The task is that the tracking system during order checkout suddenly stops during the checkout procedure - which leaves me with the task to figure out if visitor: A) left my website - if so which website did visitor go to? B) closed his browser? C) did continue to another page during checkout - beyond the last recorded page - but system did not record that? The bid is for information on how I can make my system "see/record" if visitor A, B, C.
