I have a web host account with about 100gb of included disk space that I would like to use as online backup. They support ftp, but that's not always a good option because I'm a consultant and frequently work from a client's pc behind their corporate firewall which restricts ftp.
So I'd like to get some code using standard tools such as html https and maybe a little php so that I can hit a standard https url, login, and either:
- treat the site as a mappable drive
or
- have a simple drag and drop interface to upload/download files.
extra bonus would be ability to url link to files for photo storage, sharing with associates etc.
See [login to view URL] and competitors - they are online backup solutions and they work fine, but I don't see the need to pay them when I already have plenty of un-used space available.

## Platform
1and1 hosting, there are 2 platforms available:
- 1and1 Business, which is shared linux based:
e.g. uses perl, php and mysql
- 1and1 MS Business, which is shared Windows based
e.g. uses .asp, SQL, ASP.net 2.0 etc
I'm open to using either platform.
