XML File Modification - Field rename

*** THIS BID REQUEST WAS UPDATED AND INFO SENT TO THOSE WE FEEL BEST FIT WHAT WE NEED *** NOW ONLY INTERESTED IN FILLING THE OPTIONAL PART OF THE BID *** We use XML documents to send and receive sales order and invoice data to a translator for EDI conversion. The project here requires that the XML file is opened prior to the translator and a copy is made of the entire file with one exception, the header XML tag is changed slightly to identify the document differently. The Source filename would be provided in a command line parameter and the output filename could just append a character to that filename to make it unique. Optionally, for a more advanced (higher price) project we would also like to make this copy/conversion only happen with a select few trading partners identified within the XML document. An .INI file with the list of trading partners would be read and if the current XML document contains the identified trading partner, the copy/conversion is created, otherwise ignoring the file and not making the copy/conversion. Prefer the coder uses VB, Java, or C++ to accomlish this task so we can eventually modify the code ourselves (we have some very novice beginner programmers on staff). VB would be the most beneficial to us. More details will be provided for those that are interested. ## Deliverables Complete and fully-functional working program(s) in executable form as well as complete source code of all work done. Complete copyrights to all work purchased. ## Platform Will run under Windows 2000 Server and Windows 2000 Pro environments. Must be able to call from a command prompt or within a DOS batch file. Again, prefer that the programming is done in VB, Java, or C++. Really, prefer VB is used. ## Deadline information This project is needed ASAP and must be completed by 8/16/02.
