We need code for the Microchip PIC series (preferably PIC16F877). We want the chip to operate as a MUX/DEMUX. Our problem is that we have 8 devices operating in asynchronous serial mode but only two pairs of wires for bidirectional data. The two comms wires can tranmit at up to 115kb but the 8 data sources are normally much slower. We need code which can combine all 8 ports, send the data at high speed and then uncombine the data at the top. It also has to be bidirectional. The number of PICs used is not important, we could do it all in 1 chip or even use one for each channel plus a control chip (9 in total). Depends on how good the coder is I suppose. The particular chip used is also unimportant. Raw machine code would be fine but PICBasic preferred. ## Deliverables Complete and fully-functional working program(s) in executable form as well as complete source code of all work done. Complete copyrights to all work purchased. ## Platform Microcontroller
