Electronic Prescribing System Briefly Is a system where a doctor can create prescriptions for patients and post them to the pharmacy interface so the pharmacist could see online the prescription and process it. We will develop the project using PHP + MySQL and Ajax with the CodeIgniter framework. This framework ensures separation of layers of development (MVC), making the code elegant and easy to maintain. Furthermore, we use tests (PHPUnit) to ensure the smooth operation of the site, besides making it well documented for future changes.
