script to access .xml files on cisco router

we need a script to access the cisco router, download the CDRs (.xml) files to to a local linux server, then delete .xml file(s) off the router every x minutes cisco provide us with the following attached zip .. but for security reasons, I dont wish to use telnet if possible and I also wish to use the local server running script not a remote server I filled in the proper info ,but I am getting the following error - when connecting to remote FTP server eof read waiting for command prompt: This account is currently not available. at ./[login to view URL] line 193 i need this script to be workable asap..
