Hey freelancers!
I've got a fairly easy one for you, assuming you know SQL/MySQL. Here's the scenario...
I've got a business-review website that I'm migrating to another theme.
The old theme had just one rating (number of stars) per review, but the new theme breaks the reviews down into 4 different categories and then calculates the average of the values of each category. So in migrating them to the new format, I'm just going to assume that they want the same value they put in as their 'old' rating for each of the categories.
So here's an example of a field in the 'commentmeta' table for an 'old' review (with periods in lieu of spaces since all spacing is apparently destroyed when I try to post this):
meta_id.....comment_id.....meta_key.....meta_value
1.................234...................rating...........5
And here's an example of what I need created based on that:
meta_id.....comment_id....meta_key...............meta_value
<auto>.......1234.................value-for-money....5
<auto>.......1234.................location.................5
<auto>.......1234.................cleanliness............5
<auto>.......1234.................service...................5
<auto>.......1234.................listeo-rating...........5
In pseudo code, it would be something like this:
INSERT INTO wp_commentmeta (comment_id, meta_key, meta_value) VALUES (<same comment_id>, <each of the 4 categories + 'listeo-rating'>, <same value as 'rating'>)
And I either need the actual statement that's based on that pseudo code OR I can just export the table, and then you can make changes and give it back to me.
If that's something you're up for, please mention me by name (Tim) in your proposal so I know you actually read the project description.
I look forward to working with you!
Hi Tim, I checked your sql issue,i can do in a few hours.
I am very interested in this project. I have a lot of experience in SQL QUERY programming for over 8 years. If you have any questions or concerns don't hesitate to let me know. I hope to hear from you.
Best regards,
Michael
Hello,
Im interesting in this project. I have experiencie working with MySQL, and i guess I am the best candidate for the job. Here you could have 3 tables, one for the main data of comments, another for the categories and the last one to make the relationship between them. That should be, comment_id and meta_id.
