I have done several migrations from private exchange to hosted exchange services such as intermedia and office 365. 30 customers in the last 6 months. I just migrated a customer from office 365 over to intermedia last month. They were not happy with the service at 365. You are only wanting to migrate the public folder database? What is the size of the current database? Is your email already being hosted with office 365? Are you doing Active Directory integration?

Greetings. I would like to perform this job for you. I'm a really experienced archictec with previous experience in migrations in the Microsoft Platform. For that, can you tell me if any of public folders are larger than 50GB? If so, it is necessary to run a PowerShell script to create the necessary public folders at the destination, prior to migration. Except that, the process is as follows: 1. Create administrative account at the source – to be used for your public folder migration. 2. Configure an admin role to the administrative account that is performing the migration. 3. Ensure your public folders meet Microsoft requirements. 4. Purge old data from your public folders (let me know if it was already done, otherwise it is an extra effort). 5. Check for quotas of the public folder(s) to ensure that is high enough for migration. Depending on the size, I believe that this job may not take more than 2 hours. Just let me know. Regards.
