The Opportunity We are seeking a skilled and experienced Part-Time Data Engineer with expertise in dbt to join our dynamic team. As a Data Engineer at Maltem Group, you will play a pivotal role in designing, building, and maintaining robust data pipelines that enable data-driven insights for our clients. Key Responsibilities: Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand data requirements and develop data solutions that align with business needs. Design, implement, and optimise data pipelines to ensure data quality and consistency. Work with various data sources, transforming and loading data into the appropriate storage systems. Develop and maintain documentation for data pipelines, ensuring clear communication across teams. Troubleshoot and resolve any issues related to data pipelines and transformations. Stay up-to-date with industry best practices and emerging technologies in data engineering. Key Requirements: Proven experience as a Data Engineer, with a focus on building and maintaining data pipelines. Strong proficiency in dbt. Proficiency in SQL and experience working with relational databases. Familiarity with cloud platforms such as Azure. Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail. Effective communication and teamwork abilities. Flexibility to work 2-3 days per week with the potential for remote work.
