Need a database that will be used to track maintenance and other events at rental properties. I would prefer that this be done in MS access as this will be run on a windows tablet while not having internet access. While there are many packages out there that can do this they generally are part of a larger management system that does many things related to property management that I simply don’t need. The initial screen should have a few functions. - Show open issues by all properties, think trouble tickets in a support ticketing system. I want to be able to enter the problem and the resolution on these and associate them with a specific property which will be associated with the address of the property. I am thinking the vision for this is a column list of open issues with a brief one line description of what is going on. I can then hit a button to close which should prompt me with a notes or solution field. Think trouble ticketing system or action like in a support environment. - Property review, as site visits are conducted I will need it to enter a date in a table which should default to the current date, have a notes field to enter some notes in a text box. This should have the option to add to the list of open items. It might be just specific notes that may or may not require a repair or follow-up action. - A report showing followup items, meaning a table or filter on a table that should show items to be followed up on. Example if rent on a property is to be raised on 4/1/2016 that should show as an open followup item based on a followup date from when the item was first entered. This is different then the open repair related items. This should include both by property or all properties. - A report showing all notes for a specific property, repairs, followup items, etc. This would include the property review function and notes taken during the visit. - A function to add properties to a table that stores with the address of the property. I hope this is enough information, I don’t view this as a complicated database project. Please bid accurately on this project or ask questions before bidding if clarification is needed.

Hi, From your description I would suggest the following: 1) property screen :- a summary list of all properties, from here you can add, update and remove listings. Opening a property will provide links to issues and site visits records etc. 2) Open issues screen :- a summary screen listing all open issues. I would suggest having due dates on follow up items as a means of sorting the display. individual issues will link back to properties. During a property review a screen with a tabbed display would allow you to separate info on the property into discrete sections. After all you don't need to have the address on screen when you are in the building. In general this project will be very specific to how you currently work and I expect there to be a few varations in the functionality along the way and I have allowed for this in the bid. Should you consider this bid, then please contact me and send on some examples of the data you currently gather that way and I can send on a demo for you to review so that you can get a better idea of what I would be producing. Technically I have 15+ years developing VB and database applications and I have developed numerous access applications for various requirements. Hi, I have worked extensively on Microsoft Access programming. I think we can create a grid view for showing up the open issues and the follow up items. Editing the same will be edited in the database. The report generation and the property review can be done only with the button click and textbox entry respectively.
