Redesign/Freshen up existing logo

I need my logo "refreshed" I like the basic design idea - "growth" We've recently chosen a new direction and need to have the colors updated as well as the image and lay-out. The logo is mostly used on the web, both on our site, email marketing and banners. We periodically need to also print it so I need both a print ready and web-ready logo - although web is most important. Our business is related to us savings bonds and shopping, our current logo represents individual growth - these three emblems are important to the final design. The logo we are seeking needs to emphasize an individual growth and financial success. While utilizing our currency "us savings bonds" if possible. The trick is to be innovative with a traditional security and to represent the concepts expressed above. The logo should appeal to woman and men in the 30+ yet be hip enough for the next generation and conservative enough to represent trust. We would also like this logo to have 2-3 colors and look good on both light and dark backgrounds. The company name should be visible as part of the logo. Once completed, we will require full ownership of the completed work. We may have subsequent requirements for color changes, but those changes can be negotiated separately.
