Write an installation document for a mail server that is able to:
* collect mail from several POP3 mailboxes (on the internet) and save them in a local mailbox
* local mailbox can be accessed via POP3 - IMAP4 and webmail
* be used as outgoing SMTP server
Installation includes:
* mailserver (smtp - pop3 - imap4)
* software that enables the "collection" of mail from different pop3 mailboxes
* webserver for webmail
* webmail software
* webinterface for the configuration of mailservers and of the "collection" of the mailboxes
If on the OS level we need to do changes (like hostname/ip/...), then explain them too in your document
Include automated backup/restore procedure for both settings and most of all mailboxes. (backup to a remote location and restore from a remote location). After each backup we should get a notification in a mailbox (backup ok or failed or even upload failed)
Server will run Debian 6
The installation instructions should be COMPLETE, this means that
saying
download [login to view URL] from [[login to view URL]][1]
is NOT complete
saying
wget <[login to view URL]>
is correct
The big test for your installation document ill be an installation we will perform based on your document, so make sure it's complete and correct.
