I can really know your problem and it's all about relationship between model Category and parent Category which is in laravel we can use in the model of Category like this one: public function parent() { return $this->belongsTo(Category::class); } and public function childs() { return $this->hasMany(Category::class, 'category_id'); } i've faced this problem before so that i can help you i don't really care about the price as long your problem can solved and i'm with that. hope we can collaborate in the future Thanks in advanced for sharing this
