I have worked on a similar project in the recent times. I use my python script to extract data from sandbox api, that has URL and client credentials provided by the user. The data from source API is in JSON format. Once I pull this data, I convert it into a structured table format and load the data into a redshift table. Also, I archive this data into a bucket in S3.
