I have coordinated software deployment on premise and on cloud computing environments, specially targeting Linux distributions like Suse, Fedora, RHEL and Ubuntu. Also on Windows, but that is quite uncommon. About the project let me tell you I have never used DHIS2 or a CAS server. It doesn't concerns me since it is just another product I will need to learn and soon I will be able to master it. The base framework could be Spring, through which we could integrate with Freemarker in order to generate the views, JaxB or Jackson to manipulate XML or Json, and MyBatis or Hibernate to handle persistence. If you rather other frameworks, no problem. My skills include the use of SCMs like Git, SVN, and Mercurial; SQL and NoSQL databases; automatic tests with JUnit or TestNG; and the deployment of continuous integration systems.
