I'm a freelance illustrator specializing in hand drawn/painting art on fine quality art paper. I draw and illustrate by freehand with, ink pen/brush. Coloured illustration are made with coloured pencils/pens, markers or aquarelle/water colour. Hi there, I am new to this site, but I have been hunting for a childrens book to illustrate.. i love picture books - Im like a big kid! I have made a few attempts at writing them myself but I am more visual than verbal and they dont work out! I am happy to work closely with you to create characters based on your story line and develop a photoboard, drafts and final illustrations I have experience making sensory books for children with special needs. Some of these images are in my portfolio. These combine a variety of materials to appeal to the senses and are interactive. I can send you some more examples of my pictures if you like.

I can help you to define how and why the characters should look like for this children's book. I have a lot of free time so we can easily have regular talk during the chara-design process. I won't lie to you this will be my first 'official' work and the fact that it will be a children's story was my main interest, since I really like this kind of book. I can be pretty flexible, I can work on a piece of paper or with my graphic-tablet, I know Photoshop, Illustrator and others.

When it comes to my clients I like to work with them one on one. That way I get to know them on a personal level. Understand what they really want and what they don't want. When it comes to the process work. I would usually send 4 to 5 roughs done in red/grey led. After going over the roughs. I transfer the roughs on Photoshop to work on the final image.

I would really love to work on this project because I think it's a wonderful idea. I'm new on freelancer and really eager to work. I'm dedicated, passionate and would make sure to communicate with my employer thoroughly until the perfect end product is achieved.

I would love to illustrate this story! I would have a simple approach focusing on the boy, the characters and the emotions as he meets his own/these emotions giving them or the boy by every emotion specific colors or forms to standout in the story.
