Survey Panel Management

Survey panels are made of pre-recruited groups of people who have agreed to participate in market research studies. Members are usually given incentives as a reward for giving their time and opinions to these surveys. When building a panel all communication to your panelists will come with your brands look and feel, keeping your mission and message present within your community. Survey panel lets you create and manage multiple panels with different attributes. It enables the selection of panelists according to their attributes, optimal for a specific survey. It also serves to collect responses and obtain relevant insight. The panel provides the following functions: 1. Manage multiple panels. 2. Customize panel attributes. 3. Import new panelists. 4. Create panelist filters using system information, activity history, panel and survey data. 5. Create samples using panelist filters and link them to surveys. 6. Export panelist data. 7. Track panelist emails and survey history. 8. Update panel from Survey. 9. Manage user permissions. 10. Secured web API. Creating a Panel The first step to managing a panel of individuals is to create a Panel. 1. Go to Settings > Panel > Panels. Click on the Add Panel button. 2. Give your Panel a unique name. Select the duplicate control options that fit your needs. 3. Click Save to create the panel. Once your panel is created, click on the Attributes menu in the item action menu, which brings you to the Panel Attributes. From there, you are able to add custom attributes to your panel. Optionally, you can go to Settings > Panel > Groups and create groups for your panel. Groups are useful to quickly identify a set of panelists when creating a sample. The next step is to import data into your panel. Go to Panel > Importing. Follow the instructions provided and create a CSV file containing the data you wish to import. Import your file and commit it to the panel once it is validated. The functionality required to handle panels are located in two different main menus: • Settings > Panel o Panels: To add, edit and delete panels. o Panel Attributes: To add, edit, delete and import panel attributes. o Groups: To add, edit, delete and import panel groups. • Panel o Panel: To see a summary of a survey’s activities. o Panelists: To access panelist information. o Samples: Use samples of panels to invite them to respond to other surveys. o Importing: To import panelists into a panel.
