Need an Hourly Lead UI/UX iOS designer 2/21 - 6/21

We are a very lean start-up located in Boston MA, USA and we are looking for an HOURLY lead UI/UX iOS designer to develop an MVP over the next months. 2/1/2021-5/1/2021 Our iOS app will be the world’s most beautiful baby book. By creating the most rewarding, easy-to-use, and delightful way for parents to track their child’s development, users will be able to create the most detailed view of human development ever -- improving time-to-diagnosis for childhood conditions, empowering parents to take charge of their child’s health, and accelerating the promise of precision medicine. This person will utilize mockups that we have already created as a starting point, but we will look to them to polish the look and feel, and the user flows of the app based on the latest trends and Apple protocols. They will create a clickable prototype based on our initial designs and their recommended updates and changes. They will deliver world class designs and interfaces, all while being flexible to changes in the design and flow. We will look to them for guidance on the Apple standards for navigation and flow in the app. To ensure that once developed the app will behave in very a similar manner to what was designed. WHAT YOU WILL DO: • Acquire a deep understanding of the Alea Diagnostics brand • Work closely and collaboratively with Republic Systems’s Program Manager and the CEO of Alea Diagnostics • Take our initial mockups and transform them into a clickable prototype that conforms to the latest iOS standards. o This will be done in an iterative approach with low fidelity designs first to get the workflows completed, then we will add the beautiful artwork and designs to the project. • Guide our team through the design process ensuring that our design can work under iOS 14.X • Work with the Program Manager and development team to develop the app after the design phase is complete, delivering all assets that are needed to bring your design to life. • Help the team pick out the perfect icon set for the app. WHO YOU ARE: • Excellent communication skills (Must be fluent in English) • 3+ yrs of web & visual design experience with a UI focused portfolio • Obsessive attention to detail • Excellent planning, multi-tasking and organizational skills • Ability to prioritize and meet tight deadlines • Team player, flexible attitude and ability to adapt to change • Deeply collaborative and iterative approach • They must be knowledgeable on the latest issues, features and requirements that have come out with iOS 14.X. • Basic understanding of CSS / HTML • Works with o google slides o smartdraw, visio, libre draw o sketch o adobe xd, photoshop, illustrator, after effects
