Dear friends, I have 2 workbooks named: 1. [login to view URL] workbook contains such columns: Staff ID and Department... 2. Salary workbook: this workbook has several sheet and each sheet is named based on a particular Department's name. In each sheet contains such column: Staff ID. My requirements are: When 2nd workbook is open, it will auto update all values from Staff ID column in 1st workbook to the Staff ID column in 2nd workbook based on the sheet name (using as a keyword) and keep looping through all sheets to update values accordingly. It will auto update when workbook is open or when I click on a button. If I create another salary file for new months, this should work the same as long as all files stay in 'ryan' folder. If I bring copy this folder to another computer, it should also works without changing anything. Using VBA code to achieve this automatic task. Example: When I open Salary workbook, in HR sheet (name of the department), it will auto get all staff ids from Accounting Department in the [login to view URL] workbook. I have attached sample excel file here for you to work on.
