I have an excel spreadsheet which I need help with. It is a P & L tracker. There is a data entry sheet which then feeds summaries in to a monthly cost sheet which the total then feeds to the overview sheet. The overview sheet I have working from the monthly cost sheet however I do not know how to collate the information from the data entry sheet and for its total to feed automatically in to the monthly sheet. it could be vlookups or pivot table but I don't know which. The sheet is tracking the spend per category per month. In the data entry sheet I want to have drop down boxes for the cost centre codes to save typing. I would normally do in an access database but not all users have access across the company so having to do in excel.
