Hey Mate, This sounds like an interesting application to work on. I have pulled data and built trading strategies, signals and triggers with that data in the past (I have an example of pulling stock data in my portfolio via bathtub link). Setting up TWS shouldn't be a problem and neither should storing the data. Having run and designed systems and apps running on AWS in the past I personally think you would get better return on your money by taking in data from a source like AlphaVantage, Iguana or IEX and storing it that way, but if cost is no problem or you plan on actually scripting your trading system and triggers on top of TWS then it will probably work out better. Also what kind of timeframe were you looking to store data on? Minute, hourly, weekly+? Looking forward to hearing back from you. Cheers, Peter.
