Using MATLAB code, I need to investigate the capacity of MIMO systems with different Power Azimuth Spectrum (PAS) models ,namely uniform, truncated Gaussian and truncated Laplacian , I need to evaluate the capacity for each of them. firstly we should derives the correlation coefficient between antenna elements as a function of their spacing, the Power Azimuth Spectrum (PAS), the Azimuth Spread (AS) and the mean angle of arrival of the waves, for three different types of PAS. Through simulation, we need to prove that channel capacity increases as Correlation between received signals decrease, also to show that Uniform distribution have better capacity compared to Gaussian and Laplacian distributions

I've a master's degree in telecommunications engineering. During my study I simulated channel capacity, adaptive array beamforming with mutual coupling antennas, DOA estimation, etc. The mutual correlation between antennas will be considered in these simulations. The mutual correlation matrix will be calculated based on the antennas beam pattern and geometry of MIMO system, then for each configuration the channel capacity of system will be calculated.
