- main objective is to convert/simulate waves energy into electric energy - and study the impact the wave energy conversion will have on the microgrid things that i will have to make use of: - i am equipped with an M-G set that can simulate the operation of wave energy converter. - A squirrel cage induction generator that is linked to the grid through power electronic converters. outcome: - i am required to incorporate the wave energy profile in the Labview based system via an induction motor that can act as a prime mover of the generator. - and also to investigate the impact of the wave energy conversion in microgrid and to see how the power production changes for different wave conditions.
