IR Beam Break design required. I want to get a prototype of a circuit that will indicate when an IR beam is broken. The Transmitter and the Receiver will be located together, and there will be a Reflective strip located on the far side of the beam being broken. The prototype must work with a minimum distance of 1.5m between the Transmitter & Receiver on the one side, and the reflective strip on the other. The prototype must also work well in daylight, so some form of modulation will be needed on the IR beam. When the beam is broken, the circuit will give indicate this either via audible sound or by lighting a LED. The prototype should use easily available components (from Digikey, Mouser, Farnell, etc...) The Deliverables are: 1. Working prototype 2. Full circuit schematic with details of each part used. 3. Any firmware (if used)
